Kathy is a South Florida native who grew up on a five acre farm in Palm Beach Gardens with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese and a pet goat named, “Napoleon”. She began riding horses at the age of three and began competing in horse shows at the age of five. She continued competing in the South Florida Hunter Jumper Circuit (AHSA/SFHJA) until age of thirty. Kathy began her career in Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and joined Royal Palm Animal Hospital (now Royal Palm Veterinary Center) in May 1989 under the direction of Dr. Richard Ringler. Kathy has continued her career as a Veterinary Technician at Royal Palm Veterinary Center from December 2013 until present, now with Dr. Christina Herejk, and hopes to continue to provide the utmost care and compassion to her many patients and extending family members for years to come. Kathy is happily married to Tony, her love and best friend. She is also mommy to “Feather”, a Jack Russel Terrier and “Squirt” (a.k.a “Geekis”) a Domestic Long Haired cat. Kathy also enjoys boating, kayaking, camping, roading and gardening.
